Our Most Popular PostsInbox Zero series extendedMerlin Mann | Mar 19 2006This past week ended up throwing me a couple curve balls, so I only ended up finishing about half of the Inbox Zero articles I'd expected to -- including the very in-demand "Okay, smart ass, enough with the hand-waving and tell me how to actually deal with these 5000 emails" post. Couldn't not deliver that one. read more »POSTED IN:
What to Do With Old (Digital) FilesJamie Phelps | Jan 23 2008This is a pretty simple question, and I have a couple of ideas, but I wanted to ping you all to see what you're up to on this front. My main documents folder (~/Documents/trunk for those of you scoring at home) is up to about 5.5GB. A lot of this is cruft. Some of it is from prior school semesters. Some of it is graphics files that aren't actively being used. Some of it is client work. (This should be moving to Subversion soon, however.) I'm sure some of it is even duplicate work. For instance, flat .jpg copies of a Fireworks PNG or Photoshop PSD. read more »POSTED IN:
Any way to widen the 43folders layout?Lecter | Oct 1 2007Hello all, Is there any way to widen the layout of 43folders? I have a widescreen monitor, and the site (particularly the new forum) feels squished to me. Thanks! Jim POSTED IN:
Rememble.com helps to prune memorable stuffNina Gritzke | Feb 6 2008I started to use rememble.com to create an inspiring memory of stuff and ideas. The problem was that I had too much stuff at my home which I didn't need any more, but found interesting or worth keeping, because it reminded me on great things in the past. To get rid of this stuff around me, I put it into an unorganised big box which grew and grew and in which I didn't look at anymore, but also didn't want to throw away. read more »POSTED IN:

Mental InboxRick Ashton | Sep 28 2007Hi This is something I found to be both sacrilegious to GTD and very much a core part of its "capture everything" philosophy. Over time, I've found that more and more, I need to capture something at any possibly circumstance. Now I usually carry a small pad and pen right in my pocket, but there are times when you don't have access to that, in fact a lot of the time. read more »POSTED IN:
Best Clip Utilitiesrweisman | Apr 2 2008i have been a loyal copypaste user for years, but it's incompatible with more and more apps (like textexpander and typeit4me), and I haven't heard anything about it being compatible with 10.5. i liked copypaste best when it was pre-YType, so i am looking for a replacement that is similar and easy to use. i know quicksilver has a clipboard, but i'd like something with easy to use hot keys as there is in copypaste. TIA! POSTED IN:
