Applied GTDDr Marty | Feb 16 2008A new client of mine, we're meeting in a little more than a week. He called to ask if it was OK if he could blog about our lifecoaching stuff. Also, I think he plans to bring his wife. I said yes. The only reason that I'm posting here is that I will focus a lot on GTD stuff. Some it canonical David, and some of it more my interpretation. Also, I'm not a 'whole-system-all-the-time' type of coach. I want to develop GTD strategies to counteract feelings of helplessness and being trap. read more »POSTED IN:

application overload! Shiny new toys....Helen | Oct 23 2007Do you have a set of apps that do it all happily, or do you tinker with shiny new things? I'll admit it, I'm an applications tart. (despite the massive job of dealing with the hundreds of old unprocessed emails) I've been tinkering with Wikis, signed up for BackPackit (no images on the free one....:( )and am beta-testing another funky task organizing ap. Oh, not to mention Sciral Consistency and Scrivener... read more »POSTED IN:
Improving Presentations - a Modest Change with Big EffectsJohn Fishback | Apr 1 2008My firm just posted this ten-minute presentation to give prospective clients a feel for what we do. Given the presentation's focus on making a small change in trade for a big impact, and given the great posts on presentations Merlin's written, I thought it appropriate to share it here. I welcome your thoughts and comments! POSTED IN:
What's On The White Board?Sean Coffee | Feb 20 2008I have this dry-erase board I use for quick notes -- dashing off phone numbers, little reminders, that kind of thing. I've found it much easier than searching for something to write on/with when I'm on the phone, and I can't stand typing notes while I'm talking. Thing is, a lot of the items on the board are short-lived, especially the phone numbers; I need them when I need them, but they don't make the cut when it comes to inputing them into Address Book or whatever.Obviously, I erase the white board fairly regularly. read more »POSTED IN:
