Highrise thoughts? Anyone?

I think I like it.

But the emailing-things-into-highrise doesn't work as expected.

I think it could be interesting and useful for me to manage my personal relationships, but my professional ones not-so-much. I'd really like if I could do a ring-back connect thing via phone like GrandCentral lets you do. <3 the GrandCentral.

I'm playing with it...

I have been dipping my toes in it and experimenting with using it for my consulting business client communications. I, personally, like what I see thus far but am wary of spreading my tasks amongst more windows/tabs/products. I already am an active Backpack user for my personal stuff and Basecamp for work projects. I really love some of the features but don't know if I need yet another "Inbox" in the mix.

I would love to see some of these features (task categories and times, notes from e-mails, etc) spread their way into Backpack. Perhaps they will in that upgrade to Backpack they teased us with several months ago.

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »

Scared Shitless

Merlin’s scared. You’re scared. Everybody is scared.

This is the video of Merlin’s keynote at Webstock 2011. The one where he cried. You should watch it. »
