gtd-php: a web based, open source implementation of GTD
geodude | Jan 15 2006
gtd-php version 0.1 has just been released. gtd-php is written in PHP (hence the name) and MySQL. If you have these installed and playing nicely with Apache, you only need a browser to use the software - no programming required (unless you want to). Documentation and downloads are available at http://gtd-php.sf.net. Although it has a version number of 0.1, I've used this for about 6 months for my GTD system and I'm releasing this under a BSD license with the hope that others find it useful. Comments and suggestions would be most welcomed. 25 Comments

A service would be great, but we are currently focused on getting the app refined/evolved. I think one possibility is for a savy web firm to grab the code and make it part of their offerings - that way users have gtd-php if they want. I started this for my own gtd use (i.e., a single user). After releasing it, there has been a lot of positive feedback thus far (a bit overwhelming) so I'd like to incorporate that feedback in continuing to provide releases that are useful to people. If part of that is working on a multi-user version, then we could explore that. Right now, though, it seems most of the interest is on adding features for a stand-alone-single user install, and that is where things are currently focused. » POSTED IN:
