FS pen question

I've recently noticed that I usually have to clean off the tip of my Fisher Space Pen before I can use it (by wiping it on a scrap of paper to get off the excess ink). The ink just kind of gums up around the tip and it occurs after it has been in my pocket a while. Any other users of the FS pen out there experiencing this? Is it correlated to the hotter weather? No big deal. Just kind of annoying. 3 Comments

I had this issue and e-mailed Fisher about it. The (very quick) reply from customer service asked about the date and other info on the cartridge. They'd had some issues with some of the ink cartridges and asked that I mail mine in so they could look at it. She put a replacement in the mail right away. The new ones work fine, and I was really impressed with the turnaround time and overall level of service. » POSTED IN:
