FS pen question

I've recently noticed that I usually have to clean off the tip of my Fisher Space Pen before I can use it (by wiping it on a scrap of paper to get off the excess ink). The ink just kind of gums up around the tip and it occurs after it has been in my pocket a while.

Any other users of the FS pen out there experiencing this? Is it correlated to the hotter weather?

No big deal. Just kind of annoying.
