Undergraduate GTD

I am going to be starting my Sophomore year at university in the Fall and I am trying to get a GTD system together. I am currently reading David Allen's book. I have read the posts about graduate GTD, but I am not sure how to apply it to the life of an undergraduate. My biggest dilemma is how to manage everything. Also, I am trying to decide between paper, digital, or a hybrid system. I like the idea of a Moleskine and/or a Moleskine calendar but I also love techie stuff. Any suggestions?

Thanks for all the info Todd! My only problem is that I'm not sure I have room for 5 cardboard boxes in my room...
