I'm working on an article about email tricks for one of your finer magazines, and -- as you might imagine -- when it comes to the inevitable Windows stuff, I'm a bit light in the useful tips department. So, I turn to you Redmond-using smarties for help. Do you have a favorite application, plugin, trick, or hack for bending Windows email to your will? Double-credit for Outlook add-ons that garden-variety users can install without fancy root-style access. Whence comes your magic Windows fu? 64 Comments

Because I use Paypal to sell stuff, my favorite add-on is the Paypal payment wizard that sits right on your Outlook toolbar. If you have a Paypal Business Account, you install it by doing this: 1) log in 2) click "merchant tools" 3) scroll down to "Payment Request Wizard for Outlook" (it's on the right hand side of the page) 4) follow the instructions Once it's installed you can generate unique payment links from inside Outlook. Very handy and easy to use. By the way, I like the practical info on your blog and reference them in my blog on office productivity. » POSTED IN:
