My kGTD setup

Related to today's earlier post, a number of people have written over the past few weeks with curiosity about kGTD ("Is it worth buying OmniOutliner Pro?" "Is it worth buying a Mac?" "Will I be able to vanquish all foes?"). While I'm not prepared to do a major sales presentation, I am happy to oblige the folks who wanted to see how I've set mine up. Also gives you a little window into my current contexts (as well as my atrocious personal habits). Screenshot here (best viewed full size): comments and questions will be entertained. 52 Comments

I love the cool new tools, but from my experience implementing GTD in a corporate workplace, Outlook 2003 wins hands down. I drag and drop incoming emails with action items into tasks. My tasks are grouped grouped into categories. I can print out tasks with my calendar and stick it into the pocket on my moleskine, which holds any other lists that I maintain offline. The key with Outlook is to stop focusing on the inbox and calendar, and work primarily from the tasks window...and TURN OFF the new message notification! » POSTED IN:
