Adapting for home use?
JW | Apr 11 2008
Hi all! I'm currently reading through GTD and trying to figure out my setup. I'm a part-time SAHM with a son i 1st grade, a daughter in preschool, and a son who will be 2 this summer. Needless to say, I have my hands full! On top of that, my husband works long hours and I handle all mail and billpaying. Unfortunately I went out and bought the hanging file folders before reading the chapter on why manila folders are better. However, I think the hanging folders will work just fine. I plan to put 2 manila folders in each numbered folder (of the 43) one labeled "file", another labeled "do". This way I can keep track of when something was completed, then file everything in my file drawer at the end of the month. Does this seem excessive? Does this violate the "Touch It Once" rule? I read some of the posts on the manila/hanging debate- very interesting! 1 Comment

You could use just a simple notebook as David Allen recommends, or you could invest in a planner. Dan, http://www.gtdagenda.com » POSTED IN:
