Mac Typing Tutor
James Marwood | Jan 6 2008
I think it is time I finally taught myself to touch-type and I think the best way is going to be one of those typing tutor programmes. I haven't looked at these for smething like 15 years. So, what should I look for? Any programs to look out for? Any to avoid? 2 Comments

Depends what you need...Submitted by augmentedfourth on January 7, 2008 - 12:53am.
Are you already familiar with where your fingers go, or do you need to relearn that as well? If you already have home row and the finger placements down, you just need to drill yourself silly. I recently started using the free (and fun!) online QWERTY Warriors game to practice, and I've already noticed an increase in my speed and accuracy. If you need to start from a more "square-one" level, I'd recommend downloading an old abandonware version of Mavis Beacon for DOS and run it with the Radnor frontend for DOSbox. » POSTED IN:
