moving files with quicksilver
Simon | Nov 20 2007
as a student i'm often downloading files from my teachers homepages, like pdf slides. Normally, my browser saves them in "Downloads" Folder and shows them with preview. what i like to do is to move the file while i see it with preview. because right now i always have to open "Downloads", click on the file and then use quicksilver to move the file... isn't there a way to it right away from preview? thx, simon (and sorry if i posted this topic in the wrong place in this forum) 2 Comments

hazel rocks!Submitted by urtl on December 2, 2007 - 4:06pm.
Hi berko, thanks for your answers I checked out Hazel and I instantly loved it! Solves my problem perfectly, even better than I could imagine! Your solution with quicksilver is also good, but I think the problem is point 3: I think preview doesn't writes its history "on the go" and as a matter of this the file you just downloaded won't be displayed. but I'm totaly satisfied with hazel. So thanks for this very valuable tip! » POSTED IN:
