Capturing thoughts
direwolf | Nov 9 2007
Quite often, I find myself doing something when other thoughts pop up that really need capturing. Stopping whatever I'm doing to write this down / record it / whatever feels like I'm not being fully efficient doing what I was supposed to be doing in the first place. My mind tends to skip about quite a lot. Sometimes it simply isn't practical to stop what I'm doing to capture (or even carry capture tools), which leads to, 'will I remember this ?' anxiety. Anyone been through similar & found a method that helps ? 4 Comments

If you're using a Mac, then you should invest a little time in learning Quicksilver. I use it to fire off tasks to Remember the Milk inbox. These don't always turn into tasks, but it's an inbox I can access quickly using my RtM Inbox email address via Quicksilver. If you're not at the computer, I heartily recommend Jott. When I get the text and/or email of a Jott I frequently have forgotten about it and it really is just a trigger. » POSTED IN:
