Capturing thoughts
direwolf | Nov 9 2007
Quite often, I find myself doing something when other thoughts pop up that really need capturing. Stopping whatever I'm doing to write this down / record it / whatever feels like I'm not being fully efficient doing what I was supposed to be doing in the first place. My mind tends to skip about quite a lot. Sometimes it simply isn't practical to stop what I'm doing to capture (or even carry capture tools), which leads to, 'will I remember this ?' anxiety. Anyone been through similar & found a method that helps ? 4 Comments

either a card in my shirt-pocket briefcase (in my back pocket), a phone call to jott (usually to have Sandy remember it), a few moments on my phone's voice recorder, or a notebook. it's second nature to just write shit down when it pops into my head so i'm not preoccupied with a bunch of "stuff" throughout the day. i hand it off and forget about it. » POSTED IN:
