Bugs in QuickSilver B52 (3813) - re: Leopard? TextExpander?
Micah Diamond | Oct 30 2007
Has anyone else been experiencing (more than normal) buggy behavior with QuickSilver B52 (3813) recently? The two culprits which may be related to and/or may be causing this excessive buggy-ness may be either my recent installation of Leopard, or my recent installation of TextExpander... By buggy behavior, let me give you a couple examples...recently the Quicksilver clipboard history has been popping up sparatically without being triggered...this happens regularly - like once every ten minutes or so, and needless to say, its been a brutal side-effect... Another example is also occurring with the clipboard history, in which the row height is gigantic (like 128px - even though my QS preferences are still set at the default of 34) Though one might jump to conclude this probably has more to do with my recent Leopard installation, I think it might actually be related to my recent TextExpander installation instead...I was using Leopard with QuickSilver installed for about a day or two prior to installing TextExpander and didn't encounter any problems, but once TextExpander was installed, that's about the time I started noticing these issues...I cannot be certain about the cuase though, as it might also be related to Leopard, or perhaps even to a recent update of QuickSilver (and because of the fact that the Blacktree web site appears to be down at the moment, I have been unable to uninstall and reinstall the clipboard plug-in... Anyone have any thoughts on this issue? If so, please do let me know....Thanks! 3 Comments

I was having the same problems. I looked at the console and saw the stuff that was tripping up QS (old/bad CMMs) and it seems to have gone away. » POSTED IN:
