What to do with 3 hours in Manhattan?

I'm in NYC right now to do visit with folks at Tekserve. So. I have about 3 free hours to do anything I want in Manhattan and cab fare to get me there. What one cool thing should I do? 14 Comments

I actually like the view of the city from West NY/Hoboken. I don't really know how long a PATH trip would be, but there is a country-mouse thrill to looking over the Hudson and seeing all that... NEW YORK over there. There's also a great used book store a couple blocks from ... oh. Well, in June 2001, it was a couple blocks from the WTC, but I guess now it's a couple blocks from Ground Zero. I've seen the place in a movie or two. Can't remember the name for the life of me - two stories, shiny wooden floors, the upper story is really more like a catwalk or loft overlooking the bottom story. Found it while strolling aimlessly (which is something else to do - dérive!). » POSTED IN:
