I'm in a quandry. My T-Mobile Dash is up on eBay. I just could never get "happy" with how it worked with my Mac. So, after much searching and homeworking, I'm in the market for a Series 60 phone. I know emory and others here have extolled the virtues of S60 for a while. I've done the Windows "Smart" phone, the Treo (Palm version), and the Blackberry (8700 and 7100 series). Of these, my favorite was the Blackberry 8700 with T-Mobile, but the form factor was ho-hum and the calendaring features didn't play nice with my work Exchange server. That was a while ago. At this point, I'm now using iCal for calendaring (when I'm at work I use Google Cal and sync via Spanning Sync when I get back home) and my Gmail account almost exclusively. I've stopped caring about accessing my work Exchange stuff so I'm just looking for personal email, contacts, and calendar management. Here's where my thoughts are right now - any input would be appreciated.
I have perused HowardForums where I am also a member, but it's kind of overwhelming over there sometimes. I'm hoping the collective wisdom on the 43F board may help me decide. Thanks in advance! Oh - and I know that for "a few dollars more" I could probably get an iPhone, but I'm not really up for going to Cingular. And I'm not really sold that the iPhone is THE BEST of anything (yet). » POSTED IN:
