GTD web apps that work on mobile phones?
stevenf | Jul 21 2006
Anyone know of a good calendar + tasks web application that degrades well enough to be functional on a mobile phone's browser? (Treo, Sidekick, etc) In other words, NO AJAX when accessed from a mobile? :) 7 Comments

Backpack does a pretty good job with this. The Backpack Mobile interface is simple and will render on any XHTML/WAP2.0 browser. I don't use Backpack for my home base, but I think about it now and then because of the pretty solid mobile functionality. If only it had search so I wasn't browsing pages and pages and pages... or easy-access to tags. Oy. So far I haven't seen anything ideal. Most of the apps out there are ajaxy and therefore useless to mobile users. » POSTED IN:
