Ordered a Nokia 770 tablet

Watch this space I guess for a review once it comes. I'm really interested in this device because one of the reasons I refuse to use Tracks or Backpack as the centerpiece of my GTD is because it isn't usable on a mobile browser. As the 770 has Opera and should be able to handle Ajaxy-fancy-pants bits, that problem may go away. I just refuse to carry a laptop everywhere to solve this problem. Also, it will be able to use my mobile phone's internet connection to use the big browser/IM client/email so that I am not constantly fondling my N90 like some sort of perv. The 770 isn't a PDA. Its a tiny X11/Linux device with WiFi and Bluetooth. I'm eager to see if it will fill any gaps for me. 6 Comments

Emory: Your review of the 770 is very extensive. It looks very useful. Still, I think you'll use a laptop on the porch. But, at $19/month for unlimited data... use it anywhere you want! Have fun. -Oz » POSTED IN:
