Un-Kinked GTD Tiddly Wiki Plus
TedPavlic | Feb 25 2006
When I discovered GTD Tiddly Wiki Plus, I thought I could use some of the other great Tiddly Wiki plugins to help automate collection, processing, and general task organization. While kGTD was nice, I thought the "sync" requirement was a little lame and it was not portable going from MacOSX to HPDA to HPUX to RH to Windows and back. I wanted a kGTD that was printer friendly and portable. GTD Tiddly Wiki Plus had the potential to be that. So I've put together this prototype: http://www.tedpavlic.com/kgtd_pre/kgtd_example.htm I was going to wait to release anything, but lately I haven't had a chance to finish things up, so I figured now would be a good time to collect feedback.
Safari users: TiddlyWiki is Safari compatible as long as you install the Safari plugin at: http://www.accela.net/~dankna/tiddlywiki/ You can find simple instructions on installing the Safari plugin at: http://wiki.43folders.com/index.php/GTD_Tiddly_Wiki_Plus
It has gotten a good response on Google Groups forums. I would be interested in hearing comments from here too. 12 Comments

The MainMenuSubmitted by TedPavlic on April 19, 2006 - 9:04pm.
It sounds like a few people had a question on how to add contexts to the MainMenu on the left. All you do is create a New Context using the "New..." dropdown on the left side. Select "New Context". That will create a tiddler tagged with "context." Just be sure to start your context name with an @. After you SAVE that new tiddler and RELOAD (the MainMenu requires a reload, this is special) then it the MainMenu will be updated. NOTE -- Now that D3 is available: http://wiki.43folders.com/index.php/D3 There may not be a need for kGTDTWP. In fact, I hope that someone will soon combine the D3 plugins with kGTDTW to make something that does everything that kGTDTWP does but faster and better. » POSTED IN:
