Alpha sort next actions?
gjiraffe | Feb 20 2006
Hi all, I am a new GTD user and loving it. But I'm having trouble with my Next Actions list. I'm using the Palm To Do List 4.0 software to track them, but I can't seem to sort my next actions by Category and then Alphabetically. Is there something I'm missing? Could anyone recommend a to do list program that does alpha sorting? Most of them seem to focus on sorting by priority and due date. Thanks! 5 Comments

I'm about to overhaul my NA list myself. I have come to the conclusion that maybe I should limit my Outlook tasks to only those things that can conceivably be done in the next week, then update again on the Weekly review. I'm slowly learning that it's OK to schedule NAs on the calendar rather that put them as dated tasks. The undated task has been one of the hardest things for me to get used to in GTD. If I get a chance, I'll fire up my old Palm Zire (the original 2MB model) and see what you mean about task lists. I use a Pocket PC personally. » POSTED IN:
