Treo 650
willcodeforfoo | Oct 26 2005
I have the option of getting a Treo 650 at work, and I think I'm gonna go for it. I like that I'll be able to access email, web (limited), SSH (experiences with this?), iSync with iCal and Address Book. I was going to wait for the 700w as Palm OS seems a little... dated. But Windows isn't much better and there would be no iSync joy. Any tips? Hacks? Recommendations for apps? 12 Comments

A quick glance found this; http://www.sealiesoftware.com/pssh/ which is similar and would surely work. If you can, stick to using a '650 on T-Mobile, their unlimited data plans are cheaper than Cingular. If you can get locked in at unlimited Internet for 19 bucks, once T-Mobile throws down EDGE in your market you may get grandfathered in. There is nobody that can beat that price for that much bandwidth on mobile devices. Its the main reason I use T-Mobile (that and they don't have any GSM 850 towers so I don't have to buy quad-band phones all the time or lose GSM 900 in EU and Asia!) » POSTED IN:
