I came across a great app for working with text files. It's called NoteTaker and you can find it at VersionTracker. It syncs between a folder on your mac, and your Palm, and mirrors the directory structure on your mac.

The sync is a little quirky, and occasionally I have to set the conduit to overwrite the mac or palm, but usually the app works great. It lets you keep lists, memos etc in plain text format.

And no, I'm not the developer ... I'm just a regular guy excited about a new product I stumbled across. I recently axed Entourage from my Mac and was looking for a substitute for editing Memos and ToDos at VersionTracker when I came across NoteTaker.
