How are you using your Moleskine?

I was inspired by patrickrhone's suggestions on using a moleskine for a capturing device. I bought one, figuring I would use it - but at the same time I discovered the essence of HipsterPDA (I'm very, very new to GTD, have not even finished the book yet).

So I have my Moleskine, with some index cards in the back. Yet I find I am only using the index cards, capturing what needs to be captured, and tossing them in my physical inbox.

So what are you using your Moleskine's for? Todo lists?

Just need some input and advice. Thanks!

I carry everywhere in my...

I carry everywhere in my back pocket a small moleskine ruled cahier and a hipster pda of about 12 cards. I tend to capture reminders etc on the index cards, and write anything else in the moleskine -- thoughts, what I'm doing, lyrics, poetry, etc.

The 64 page cahier lasts me maybe 30-60 days this way, which is about when it starts getting worn out anyway. Then I throw it in a drawer and use a new one, which is nice since they come in 3-packs. The index cards I tend to throw away -- so basically anything I might want to read again goes into my moleskine. I do periodically reread them, and enjoy doing so, narcissistically.

I also have a big ruled moleskine but I haven't figured out a way to use it really.
