How are you using your Moleskine?
jcisco | Sep 27 2006
I was inspired by patrickrhone's suggestions on using a moleskine for a capturing device. I bought one, figuring I would use it - but at the same time I discovered the essence of HipsterPDA (I'm very, very new to GTD, have not even finished the book yet). So I have my Moleskine, with some index cards in the back. Yet I find I am only using the index cards, capturing what needs to be captured, and tossing them in my physical inbox. So what are you using your Moleskine's for? Todo lists? Just need some input and advice. Thanks! 29 Comments

I might have liked a pocket weekly if they'd been around when I ordered my larger one. I have the larger one in black because I really thought I'd use it. It's the 18-month one that started in ... when? I don't recall. I bought it, recorded a couple of appointments in it, then never opened it again. If anybody wants a slightly used one ... I'm a creature of habit. I'm still using the compact Franklin Planner pages that fit in my purse as a calendar and to keep phone numbers, etc. I use a regular lined pocket Moleskine for my capture device, and diy printed 3x5s for my NAs, Shopping, etc. They tuck into the pocket of my Moleskine, which fits in the pocket of my purse. So in my small purse I have everything, plus a place for my cell phone. I can either walk into a store with that on my shoulder, or toss it into one of my large shoulderbags if I'm carrying laptop, etc. It works for me. » POSTED IN:
