How are you using your Moleskine?
jcisco | Sep 27 2006
I was inspired by patrickrhone's suggestions on using a moleskine for a capturing device. I bought one, figuring I would use it - but at the same time I discovered the essence of HipsterPDA (I'm very, very new to GTD, have not even finished the book yet). So I have my Moleskine, with some index cards in the back. Yet I find I am only using the index cards, capturing what needs to be captured, and tossing them in my physical inbox. So what are you using your Moleskine's for? Todo lists? Just need some input and advice. Thanks! 29 Comments

Stick FiguresSubmitted by Lachia on September 28, 2006 - 2:27pm.
I have a two moleskins: I ALWAYS carry the small un-lined one with me. That one I use for two different things: 1) the front is for my stick figures 2) the back is for random information capture (I look it over at the end of the day to be sure I get everything into my regular system) The stick figure drawings have become my method for keeping a journal... if something "interesting" happens (funny, sad, frustrating, yada yada yada) I make a representative drawing. I use stick figures because its all I can draw. I've found it to be a WONDERFUL outlet for me and a neat way to spend time thinking about that event. I have the regular sized one as well (its lined) and I only carry it if I can't/ don't want to carry around my lap-top. With out my computer I've found I need more room for information capture and ideas. Neat post you've started here...can't wait to see what everyone else does!! » POSTED IN:
