Greetings to all. I've been doing GTD for three years. I started by tracking my NAs in Excel. Then I decided to buy a Palm and synch to Outlook. Then I bought the GTD Outlook Add-In. Then a Blackberry. At the beginning of this year I went to Achieve Planner, which I like a lot. GTD has truly transformed my life. I had read and tried many systems before GTD. I never stuck with any of them. I can't imagine going back to my pre-GTD self. I contribute occasionally to the David Allen Co. forum under the same sobriquet (a word-of-the-day this week). This is the first time I've seen this board and I like what I see. I am not quite sure what distinguishes this board from David Allen's, besides the fact that he doesn't own this one. Maybe someone could clue me in. I live in New York. I am married with a child, run a small business, a second very small business, and I teach part-time. I look forward to enlightening discussions with one and all. 1 Comment

the GTD Outlook Add-In & Projects/ProductsSubmitted by MichaelRose on September 28, 2007 - 6:19am.
Hey Are you still using the Add-In? My work usually revolves around PC-based systems and getting my Add-In transfered to a new office/job was vital for me because I'd gotten so used to it. I've just backslid from Office 2007 to 2002 and it's great to see it working just as well for me, proves that it's the concept that does the work, not the look & feel and do-dads. My big stumbling block at the moment is having multiple Products. I've given them their own Project and then I use the Subproject category for the multi-step projects for that Product. The thing is I then don't have subprojects to use. It's working, but I'm thinking I should really ditch the Products as Projects and create real products and subprojects and just let them live outside and Product categories. Has anyone found a work around for this? m. » POSTED IN:
