I forget how I heard of 43folders, but I'm pretty sure it was via a Digg. My story is like so many others: I was a big time Palm user for a while, but slowly drifted away. As Mac OS X beefed up with things like iCal and the Address Book, the need to use a Palm wasn't as great. Once I got a 12" PowerBook plus a Bluetooth phone with address/phone synching, the need simply wasn't there anymore. I still haven't read GTD (waiting for my place in queue at the liberry) so I've only gleaned a few things here and there so far. I did go out and get me a Levenger Shirt Pocket Briefcase (avec Stylo du Espace)* after I learned that *gasp* we actually have a Levenger store in Boston. This thing is mega handy so far: I've just been taking my own notes on the fly without any particular system in place just yet. (But if I like GTD I'll go out and actually buy it.) I've been in the graphic design and production business for over 15 years, with some techy Mac stuff (including programming) on the side. Interests include all things Macintosh (been a user since practically day one), crosswords and puzzles, comics and cartoons (is there any non-geeky way to present all that?) and illustration. joecab *Note to self: find out how the hell people keep their little space pens attached to their Levengers. 3 Comments

We've got a Levenger store? In Boston? Where, please? There's so much I'd conceptually love to order, but I'd like to get my grubby hands on it first. Nothing like the old touch test to see if I'd really carry it with, you know! Its in the Pru! When you walk in the front door and go up the escalator keep going straight until you're at the hub of the mall. Then go soft-left and it will be the third or fourth store down on the right. » POSTED IN:
