Dear God in Heaven...help a guy out. So, heres what we have 1. Wooden Desk. About 21 inches deep, and three feet long. I am not above pound nails, drilling, sawing whatever. 2. 1 G4 POwerbook. 3. Two external hard drive, a lacie and a mybook 4. Ipod 5. Power strip 6. Belkin 4 port usb hub 7. Mouse, with cord AND CABLES I want as clean a work space. I want to be able to shut my powerbook, and move it so I can write on my desk. Help me out with suggestions for cable manuevering 4 Comments

I also recommend the long power strip attached to the underside of the desk. What I do is mount the strip on little blocks, scaps of a 2x4, so that it faces the back of the desk instead of down. Keeps things a little cleaner that way. Also helps hold in things like wall warts. You might want to look at a small stand, like a printer stand. That way you can put your drives under it and the laptop on top when you arent actively using it. I find even if I'm not typing I like having it up and available for reference. » POSTED IN:
