I listen to lots of audiobooks that I download from http:audible.com with no prob. But when I've downloaded audio CDs they've ended up being a pain. Example: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. It downloaded in dozens of little bits (maybe chapters, but I think even the chapters were divided into smaller bits) that were a pain to deal with, especially since each one had a different title. They all showed up as "songs" and THEN ruined my shuffle because I'd get bits of HP instead of a song. Is there a way to handle audio CDs that works? Is it in the labeling in iTunes, or what? Thanks. 6 Comments

Part of it has to do with the tracks not being correctly identified as Audiobooks in iTunes, likely because it was bought through Audible rather than iTS. One way to work around this is by creating a "jumping off" playlist that excludes audiobooks, spoken word, etc. and then shuffling in that playlist. » POSTED IN:
