Lo-fi syncing - getting iCal onto paper
robertm | Nov 26 2006
I've seen several Applescripts that import information _into_ iCal. Are there any Applescripts for exporting from iCal and Address Book, to create lists that could be printed more easily in other programs? I'm asking because although I like iCal and how it's integrated with other OS X programs, its print options are very limited in terms of smaller paper sizes suitable for a daytimer. I could settle for printing a simple list rather than a graphically laid-out calendar. That certainly wouldn't be as useful for planning purposes, but I'd be willing to compromise if it made it possible. Are there any laser printers capable of handling daytimer-ish paper sizes? Double sided? This would be the ideal solution for me. Any suggestions appreciated. 1 Comment

For printing exactly as you want, this X11 program might help: http://board.43folders.com/showthread.php?t=1121 As for Applescripts to connect the two...http://blog.socklabs.com/2006/03/22/ical_backup_applescript might be a jumping-off point for negotiations, so to speak. :) » POSTED IN:
