Hanging Folders

Hello, Hi everybody, I'm new to this forum. According to GTD, Hanging folders are to be avoided, because they are much less efficient and hard to use than regular folders. Can somebody please elaborate a little more on this? I can't really see why this would be the case. -Sponge 6 Comments

The problem emerges when you want to take that folder out and work on it. If you have it in a folder it is easier to take it out and keep everything together. I also prefer file jackets to regular folders. http://www.officedepot.com/browse.do?N=201600 Now that I think about it, another crucial problem with hanging folders is that they aren't as easy to label.
