Software that inserts frequently used text?

I'm looking for software that will automatically paste (previously stored) text into a Word documen using keystrokes. I often need to insert boilerplate paragraphs into documents, and this wouuld be extremely helpful. 13 Comments

If you're using Word--Windows or Mac--just select a block of frequently used text, go to the Insert Menu, select AutoText, Select New, and Word tells you it will make your selection a new entry in AutoText, and prompts you to give it a name, such as Return Address or Fan Mail from Some Flounder. Do so, save it, and insert it later whereever you want, either from Insert Autotext Menu, or just by typing a few letters of its name in an appropriate place. » POSTED IN:
