Modo & Modo, manufacturer of Moleskine notebooks, has put themselves up for sale, getting help from accounting giant KPMG. I'm a heavy user of Moleskines; hope this won't affect their quality. Jeff 32 Comments

I don't mind being corrected if the word I'm trying to pronounce is a non-English word. For example, I pronounced a German author's name, and my prof (who is German) corrected me. But that's okay - it's not like I speak German ;) But a lot of words have more than one pronunciation, depending on where you're from. I say potato, you say potato, etc. I'm not so keen on being corrected on those ones. For instance, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the way I say "about". But my American friends find it hilarious. Sigh. ;) » POSTED IN:
