Moleskine manufacturer goes up for sale. . .

Modo & Modo, manufacturer of Moleskine notebooks, has put themselves up for sale, getting help from accounting giant KPMG. I'm a heavy user of Moleskines; hope this won't affect their quality. Jeff 32 Comments

Not that I consider myself particularly well-read but I recognise that problem. I tend to read philosophy and I come across lots of words, phrases and neologisms that are often coined from other languages: stuff like trompe-l'oiel and mis-en-scene. Hell I even get confused over writer's names: Foucault (foo-coh), Camus (ca-moo) and Baudrillard (bow-dree-yard) seem to be correct but I get nervous mentioning them in company. As for being corrected, I welcome it, although I remember getting into a huge argument about whether the 'g' in hegemony was hard or soft (I maintain that its hedge - eh - moany and the other guy thought it was hegg - eh - moany). *sigh* » POSTED IN:
