I was joking before of course, but I do always feel a pull when I see a slick new web-based service, all those Google-spying-on-my-stuff willies aside. I instantly drool over how it would be cool to be able to access my calendar, mail, to-do list, etc from any computer, then I remind myself that because I use a laptop, I'm almost always on the same computer, and the one time I *really* needed something when my internet connection was down would render the whole thing useless anyway.

Alas, I'm learning to reign in my techno-lust though. I just retired my latest smartphone today to fully commit to an index card and iCal setup. Entertaining documentation forthcoming.
