paper weight?

My only real problem with my Moleskine is that certain pens will show through--not technically bleed through, but definitely show. My experience has been that Sharpies will actually bleed through to the opposite side. So my question is this: what weight grade does paper have to be in order for this problem to be solved? 20 Comments

I find that I love the colours of the Staedtler's but that I tend to use them more for short writing (e.g., notes in margins, editing, etc.) because they're not as smooth as the Sarasas or Pilot pens. And for the record, I also have older Staedtler Silver Ball 404 0.3mm (multi-colours). I like the tri-line better - the silver balls get kind of squeaky when you don't use them enough.
