paper weight?

My only real problem with my Moleskine is that certain pens will show through--not technically bleed through, but definitely show. My experience has been that Sharpies will actually bleed through to the opposite side. So my question is this: what weight grade does paper have to be in order for this problem to be solved? 20 Comments

Pilot G-2's work well, so do Pilot p-500's. My favorite by far though is my stainless steel Parker Jotter. Noodlers ink and Parker Quink have both bled through on me (using a Cross ATX and a Hero cheapy). Surprisingly I get very little bleed through on my cheap grid composition book I use (sorry, can't find the paperweight). I think its just a process of trial and error. » POSTED IN:
