paper weight?
Carla Hufstedler | Apr 5 2006
My only real problem with my Moleskine is that certain pens will show through--not technically bleed through, but definitely show. My experience has been that Sharpies will actually bleed through to the opposite side. So my question is this: what weight grade does paper have to be in order for this problem to be solved? 20 Comments

Ink will always bleed into...Submitted by Chrome47 on April 5, 2006 - 2:38pm.
Ink will always bleed into paper, but the slicker the paper, the less it bleeds. The type of ink makes a difference, too, as does the way you press down on the paper. My girlfriend uses a G2 just fine, but for some reason I can't get enough ink out of it, and I use a Pilot V-5. I think part of that is due to the way we write. With the V-5 on Moleskine, there's a little see-through, but it doesn't bother me. An old-fashioned ball-point pen might do the trick, though, if you don't mash the paper when you write. » POSTED IN:
