There was a show on TV the other night talking about Chicago (I believe) and how they're using fancy police TV cameras (called PODs) and hooked into a futuristic operations centre. In it, they have this massive map table that they can use to zoom into see the city, blocks, buildings, etc. I think it was not a touch table, but controlled by cameras. Anyway, the only other one in existence was in the pentagon.

The only thing I could think of when I saw it, and a guy manipulating a map with it, was, oh my, imaging the mind mapping I could do with that. Just picture it, a mindmap the size of your dining room table. Oooooh.
