Levenger 3x5 Index Card Docking Station (pics and review)
R. Emory Lundberg | Mar 22 2006
Well this will be a brief review because it is a rather simple product. photos of the Levenger Index Card Docking Station on Flickr This came in the mail today. Its cheap. 9 bucks. It is also remarkably simple. I should get another one to leave at the office, I think I really like it so far. I got it in terra-cotta of course, because orange is awesome. The stand itself is quite nice. You can put a card you want to reference on it, and check it out while you're working. It stays at a nice elevation and you can easily write on an index card while it is being presented. Underneath the dock there is a nice sleeve for holding blank index cards. You can dip your fingertips underneath to snag one without looking. I like the heavy stitching, and if you don't want it up so high or want to drop it into your bag, the standy bit on the back folds down so that it is a lot "flatter" for easy carry. The entire dock is wrapped in leather, which isn't clear from the photos on Levenger's site. This is the first thing I've ordered from Levenger, my Rope Case will not be here until a week after tax day (boooo) bbut the box was lovely, the ribbon was nice, and they wrapped it in a nice soft cloth which kind of made my goofy "I love packaging" heart go all pitter-patter. This is a great accessory for your desk if you're rocking a hipsterpda or otherwise use 3x5 cards on a regular basis and need to consult one as you're working. If you capture on 3x5 it is a great thing to have handy as it serves as a nice writing surface, then you can flick the index card into your inbox when you're done using it. 4 Comments
