What Do You Carry With You?

The "ideal bag for a mobile life style" raises the question, what tools do you carry with you? It varies by what tools are necessary for you to do whatever it is you do, of course, but I think it's an interesting question. I have two bags -- one small purse and the bag that carries my laptop. My purse can go in the laptop bag, or if I don't take my laptop, go alone. I'm going to list what I always carry with me after I do an inventory. Anybody else? 41 Comments

I carry Starbucks after-coffee mints. Tiny little dynamos in a small box. I love 'em. Oh, I forgot to say -- you can make friends with them, too. Or Altoids, or anything similar. I was at a fancy dinner in Beverly Hills when somebody asked me if I had any. I whipped them out and next thing you know several people were around sheepishly asking if minded sharing, including an Oscar-winning screenwriter whom I adore. Breath mints seem to create the instant camaraderie that smoking together outside the door does. Since I'm not a smoker, I'll have to stick to the mints! » POSTED IN:
