Problem with Brother pTouch Label Maker
4ster | Feb 23 2006
Hi everyone. I use a Brother PTouch 1750 Label Maker that I love, with once caveat: When it prints labels, it almost always prints them with too much white space to the left and right of the text, which means that I have to trim the labels with scissors to get them to fit on my manilla files. I can't find a setting for this. Does anyone have any hacks/suggestions? Thanks. Doug 4 Comments

Try changing your margins from full to something else (code + tape button). Here's the manual: Thanks for pointing this out. I never knew this feature existed. Unfortunately, they still expect you to use scissors to center it after it prints, which is what I was hoping to avoid. Either way, my files still look MUCH better than when I was hand writing the labels. :) » POSTED IN:
