Problem with Brother pTouch Label Maker
4ster | Feb 23 2006
Hi everyone. I use a Brother PTouch 1750 Label Maker that I love, with once caveat: When it prints labels, it almost always prints them with too much white space to the left and right of the text, which means that I have to trim the labels with scissors to get them to fit on my manilla files. I can't find a setting for this. Does anyone have any hacks/suggestions? Thanks. Doug 4 Comments

I haven't used the 1750,...Submitted by TedPavlic on February 23, 2006 - 10:24am.
I haven't used the 1750, but I know that on my label maker the cut mechanism can be used to stall the label motor for short bursts if you give just the right touch. If you practice, you might be able to control how much tape is being ejected. Just be sure you don't hold down so long that letters get printed on top of each other. (note: on some other label makers you can adjust this leading/trailing space setting) » POSTED IN:
