Planner Wishlist

Hi guys - I'm a letterpress printer from Baltimore. As a "promotional" item (more like side-project fun) I want to create a planner for next year. Being an avid reader of 43folders, i figured it would be a good place to start bouncing around some ideas. This is what I've got so far. For each section (month) there will be the following Right now the idea is for this to be a soft cover like the cahiers, but with a deeper pocket in the back like the reporter or other hardcover journals. Inside would be a booklet of perforated index cards, to be used as necessary. Some things that I'm keeping in mind while doing research are paper quality and the ability to lay flat, two things that people really seem to like about the moleskins. I'm also looking at rhodia as inspiration, as I use those a lot too. So, what items have you added to your base notebook, notecard, etc setup that you think is really useful? any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Ben 6 Comments

I like the idea...Submitted by MrWynn on January 24, 2006 - 5:02am.
As much as I am a dedicated computer user and now a big fan of kGTD, I still love using a fountain pen and avoid carrying my laptop as much as possible. What I would love to see in your project is essentially a paper partner to the computer. It might be something as simple as a Rhodia style pad of pre-printed single sheets where I could copy down my days tasks and appointments. Then, during the day, I could add new to do items and future events to be copied back into the computer at the end of the day. Whatever you end up doing keep us all posted here! As a side note, I happen to need a good letterpress printer, how can I get in touch with you? » POSTED IN:
