Labelers

...or not labelers? Sheeplike, I bought a Brother P-Touch labeler because The David said I had to. :) I've used it on occasion, but for the life of me, I don't understand how it's better at labeling file folders than a seven-cent (in bulk) ballpoint pen. What am I missing? 23 Comments

Yes, the Learning Curve font...Submitted by sabreuse on November 30, 2005 - 2:10pm.
Yes, the Learning Curve font takes me right back to the third grade -- I remember really hating the "Q" in the shape of a big loopy "2", and in fact I don't know anyone who uses it in real life, even people with what I think of as very traditional American penmanship. I learned to write cursive first (and, in an attempt to be even vaguely on-topic, it really is much more efficient for me), and even so that school cursive felt just as strange to me as learning to print. This is interesting stuff -- I found myself much more absorbed in my googling on the subject than I expected to be, and there's a lot of emotion around it even if we aren't going to hell for the direction we write. » POSTED IN:
