Labelers

...or not labelers? Sheeplike, I bought a Brother P-Touch labeler because The David said I had to. :) I've used it on occasion, but for the life of me, I don't understand how it's better at labeling file folders than a seven-cent (in bulk) ballpoint pen. What am I missing? 23 Comments

I googled Neat Handwriting and found this article by a teacher, telling how she got her students to work on their handwriting: http://www.teacherblue.homestead.com/penmanship.html Some tips here: http://www.sparkisland.com/public/articles/howtohandwriting/parent.html Discussion of cursive, including the european style and a drafting teacher's description of his script (commercial gothic single-stroke style), etc: http://www.ajc.com/blogs/content/shared-blogs/ajc/education/entries/2005/10/12/_cursive.html Somewhere I saw a mention of denalian (all letters have connectors so they can be joined, I think) but don't remember ever being taught anything like this. Anyone know anything about the European style? And the single-stroke style sounds efficient--where to find info about it? » POSTED IN:
