Labelers

...or not labelers? Sheeplike, I bought a Brother P-Touch labeler because The David said I had to. :) I've used it on occasion, but for the life of me, I don't understand how it's better at labeling file folders than a seven-cent (in bulk) ballpoint pen. What am I missing? 23 Comments

I use a label printer...Submitted by joshcarter on November 30, 2005 - 10:03am.
I use a label printer for file folders. I started with a hand-held, and switched to a 'puter-connected one. I love the neatness of it, so count me as siding with The David on that point. I'm really curious to hear more about lettering by hand, though. (Jethro, gonna post that sample? :) ). My handwriting isn't that bad, but it's certainly not that great, either. I've seen people with really impressive handwriting before, stuff that made me want to ask, "hey, can you write some stuff on a post-it for me to keep and admire?" But I haven't found the best way to learn proper lettering. Any tips or pointers to other resources would be appreciated! Best regards, » POSTED IN:
