OK, fellow boarders, I need your best tips on finding the job. Not just a job, but that job that you'd stay at forever if they'd let you. I'll be in IT if that helps shape your recs. Basically, I want your tips and resources for finding the job and for negotiating demands. Book recommendations are good, but I'm also interested in your anecdotal resources both from the job seeker and employee seeker (nee hiring manager) POV. 4 Comments

Have you tried FrontHunter's software? (If you use a Mac, like me, I just use it on XP using VMWare). Also, I'm trying to get like-minded people like yourself to share tips on how to be more productive about the job search process with my new forum site— http://www.jobphish.com/digress/.
