Power of writing it down

Not sure this is the correct board for this, but I can't think of where else to put it. I had a very difficult phone call to make tonight. While at work today, I wrote out a NA list (@Home - tonight). The phone call was at the top. I know I wouldn't have made it without writing it down. Just writing it was difficult enough. But that was the 'commitment to myself' I needed. I'm so glad I did phone tonight. The friend I called has recently been diagnosed with cancer. I've not spoken to her since the news broke. And she starts chemo tomorrow. Best possible time, really. Needed to tell someone. Thanks Steve 3 Comments

Two of my Projects involve things exactly like this. "Be a Better Brother," and "Be a Better Emory". They're full of things I really find difficult but need to do, and will often (though not often enough) promote to NAs. Good job on your call, Steve. » POSTED IN:
